SolidWorks
Essentials
This 4-day class
provides a thorough overview of the SolidWorks approach to design
concepts. The
goal of this course is to teach you how to use the SolidWorks mechanical
design automation software to build parametric models of parts and
assemblies and how to make simple drawings of those parts and assemblies. People
should take this class if:
- They are relatively new to SolidWorks.
- They have been using SolidWorks for a
while and feel they could be more productive
Prerequisites: Familiarity with SolidWorks and review
of the on-line tutorial strongly recommended.

SolidWorks
Advanced Part Modeling
This 2-day class provides
an extended review of advanced surfacing and modeling features.
This includes lofts, sweeps, advanced blending and filleting. It
also includes the concepts of the flattened patterns through
the various sheet metal features such as bends, hems, rips,
flanges, forming tools, etc. This
class will provide students the tools they need to design
better and more competent products. This class is designed
for users that need to produce complex geometry for their
designs. Prerequisites: SolidWorks Essentials or comparable
experience is strongly recommended.
